Reading Hornby on my honeymoon

Coudal Partners' Field Tested Books is a great series of essays in which readers discuss books they've read while on vacation, and how the books and locales impacted each other. The series just posted my essay which reflects on the experience of reading Nick Hornby's High Fidelity while on my honeymoon in Alaska, thirteen years ago. Many thanks to Steve Delahoyde for running my piece.
