Farewell, FC2 and Dalkey
The "Small Press Points" column in the new issue of Poets & Writers highlights two small presses departing from Illinois -- Fiction Collective Two (moving from Evanston to Tuscaloosa, Alabama) and longtime Golden Rule Jones fave Dalkey Archive Press (moving from Normal to Rochester, New York). Best wishes to both -- just don't forget where you're from, ya hear?

FC2 was never based in Evanston, I don't think. They had (have?) a distribution deal with NUP, but I think that's the only Northwester connection as far as I know.
My copy of "Michael Martone" says Normal/Tallahasee on the flyleaf. So maybe they are moving from Normal to Tuscaloosa.
BTW, there's an FC2 reading coming up in Chicago which I'm going to add to my list today ...
