Azar = Audi

Azar Nafisi, author of Reading Lolita in Tehran, is experiencing the pitfalls of success. The oddest quote was from ad exec Dan Brown:

"Azar is to literature what Audi is to cars."

Meaning...what, exactly? Overpriced? Unreliable?
